Senior Staff Engineer, Aerospace (R5082)

📋 Description

• Bridge theory and flight testing for unmanned aviation in a high-tempo, collaborative setting.
• Work with Flight Sciences to integrate stability, control, aerodynamics, performance, and
• Lead efforts from concept to reality on autonomous flight capabilities for X-BAT family.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and validate flight test approaches.
• Support wind tunnel testing and aero model development to inform design updates.
• Develop tools to analyze flight data and validate aerodynamic models.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 15+ years in Stability & Control with flying qualities analysis and flight test experience.
• Experience across all phases of flight test: planning, cross-discipline integration, execution
• Software proficiency to develop tools for flying qualities analysis, plotting, and simulation.
• Strong collaboration, integrity, and teamwork; security clearance desired (S//SAR).
