Senior Staff Engineer, Communications Systems (Dallas - BOS - SD)

📋 Description

• Lead design, integration of data links and encryption for aircraft.
• Define system-level architectures for RF, SATCOM, SDR, optical.
• Optimize low-latency, high-bandwidth data transfer.
• Ensure connectivity between aircraft, command centers, Satellites.
• Develop AI-driven sensor fusion to boost payload performance.
• Collaborate with avionics, software, and autonomy teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years in RF communications or mission systems for UAVs/military.
• Strong RF, SATCOM, Link-16, CDL and sensor integration expertise.
• SDR technologies and secure encrypted data transmission.
• Experience writing specs for communications subsystems.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429 and aerospace data buses.
