Senior Staff Engineer, Mechanical Test (R4413)

📋 Description

• Develop and execute test plans to validate mechanical performance, structural integrity, and
• Design, build, and operate test fixtures and systems with hydraulic actuation, mechanical linkages
• Integrate and calibrate sensors (load cells, pressure transducers, strain gauges, accelerometers)
• Create and maintain Python scripts for automation, signal processing, and visualization.
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot system behaviors, and generate technical reports with design
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and electrical teams to define test requirements and run

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in mechanical testing or product development environments.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and control/measurement.
• Experience with sensor selection, integration, and calibration in test environments.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis.
• Advanced CAD skills in Siemens NX for test hardware design.
