📋 Description

• Lead structural analysis efforts for UAV airframes and substructures.
• Define finite element modeling approaches, load cases, and margins.
• Oversee static, modal, fatigue, vibration, and damage-tolerance analyses.
• Ensure analysis-to-test correlation and model validation practices.
• Drive structural optimization across performance, weight, and manufacturability.
• Support test strategy and correlate results to analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in structural analysis, aircraft structures, or aerospace systems.
• Strong expertise with FEA tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN, HyperWorks, or similar).
• Proficiency in hand calculations for strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
• Experience with composite and lightweight aerospace structures.
• Team leadership and ability to influence design decisions.
