Senior Staff Firmware Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead the firmware engineering team and represent firmware priorities in cross-functional design
• Partner with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineering to design, validate, and
• Write drivers and state machines for custom PCBs (with EE)
• Build firmware within mechanical design constraints (with ME)
• Integrate firmware into the software update pipeline; help develop firmware build systems; debug
• Debug test hardware and resolve customer issues (with Systems)

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of firmware engineering experience
• Deep experience with C, C++, and Python
• Strong grasp of analog and digital circuits and skilled in reading and understanding electrical
• Experience with TI microcontrollers and communication interfaces (USB, I2C, SPI, UART, custom
• Proficient with version control (Git or similar)
