Senior Staff Propulsion Engineer (TVC) (X-BAT) (R4160)

📋 Description

• Own TVC system from concept to flight and operational support.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with controls, airframe, flight test, and mission teams.
• Define system requirements, performance goals, and interfaces.
• Design and integrate vectoring mechanisms with engine/structure.
• Lead ground and flight testing, instrumentation planning, data collection, and evaluation.
• Analyze control authority and dynamic response across flight envelope.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in aerospace propulsion or flight control systems, with subsystem ownership experience.
• Deep understanding of nozzle dynamics, actuation, mechanical integration, and thermal/structural
• Hardware development, test planning, and flight test support experience.
• Strong Python skills for analysis, data processing, and model correlation.
• Familiarity with ANSYS, FEA, or thermal/fluid modeling for validation.
