📋 Description

  • Lead planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of user research across the lifecycle.
  • Choose qualitative/quantitative methodologies to meet objectives and timelines.
  • Conduct interviews, diary studies, usability tests, surveys, and analyses.
  • Ensure research follows evidence-based practices and rigorous standards.
  • Translate findings into recommendations for product, design, eng, and policy teams.
  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to embed user needs into decisions.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in HCI, UX, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors or related; advanced degree is
  • 8+ years of professional user research for digital products/services, ideally federal/public sector.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative methods across contexts and stages.
  • Expertise in digital service design from concept to launch and ongoing improvement.
  • Hands-on usability and accessibility evaluations against recognized standards.
  • Proven ability to translate research into actionable product/service recommendations.
