🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional writing experience, preferably covering US politics, government
• Proven portfolio of published articles, reporting, analysis, or commentary pieces.
• Strong understanding of the US political system, institutions, parties, elections, and policy
• Excellent research, reporting, fact-checking, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to clearly distinguish verified information, reported claims, analysis, and opinion.
• Strong editorial judgment to identify relevant story angles.
