• 8–10+ years seasoned mainframe engineering
• z/OS UNIX System Services (USS) expertise
• Linux on IBM Z knowledge (zLinux, KVM, IFLs)
• Modernization tools: z/OSMF, Zowe, IBM Wazi
• Automation: Git, Ansible, CLI/API usage
• Scripting: shell, Python; SSL/security basics
