SFCC Backend Developer

📋 Description

• Design, build and extend SFCC backend (OCAPI, SCAPI) endpoints for PWA frontends.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies within a distributed team to solve complex dependencies.
• Provide accurate effort estimates and conduct code reviews for high-scale commerce.
• Integrate frontend with backend, optimize caching layers (CDN, Redis) and preload strategies.
• Create API specs, architecture diagrams, and runbooks for frontend-backend alignment.
• Optimize SFCC Jobs to support real-time commerce data availability.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years web development with modern JavaScript (ES6+), strong OOP/modular design.
• 3+ years SFCC experience, including headless/OCAPI-driven architectures.
• Experience designing SCAPI/OCAPI hooks and BFF patterns for mobile performance.
• Strong knowledge of API design, caching, and integration with external systems.
• Experience with version control, build tools (Webpack, Rollup), pipelines, and CI (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with PWA concepts, service workers, caching strategies, and offline data sync.
