Shift Supervisor - Night Shift

📋 Description

• Manage end-to-end night shift operations for Vehicle Operators and Fleet Specialists, partner with
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Vehicle Operators, including performance, scheduling, time off
• Uphold safety and compliance standards in the terminal and field, ensure accurate pre-trip
• Evaluate crew performance via direct observation, remote monitoring, ride-alongs, and safety event
• Actively manage crew fatigue, enforce rest/meal periods, adjust assignments, and escalate patterns
• Own personnel-to-vehicle assignments with Dispatch and leads, considering qualifications and Hours

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in fleet operations, logistics, or transportation management with proven leadership
• Active Class A CDL strongly preferred; knowledge of Class 8 operations critical.
• Deep knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service, and compliance for commercial operators.
• Experience in a technical/testing environment; autonomous vehicle experience a plus.
• Proficiency with fleet management software, scheduling tools, and telematics platforms.
• Strong written communication; able to document and handoff clearly for day shift.
