SMSF Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns for a portfolio of self-managed super fund
• Process accounting transactions including bank reconciliations, term deposits, investment
• Handle contribution allocations, pension payments, rollovers, and benefit payment processing.
• Prepare and review workpapers to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues, data discrepancies, and accounting exceptions.
• Process corporate actions including dividends, dividend reinvestment plans, capital returns

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SMSF administration or related accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of SMSF accounting processes, compliance requirements, and investment
• Experience preparing financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation for SMSF
• Experience using Class accounting software or similar SMSF administration platforms.
• Experience processing investment reconciliations, member balances, and complex financial
• Ability to analyze and resolve accounting discrepancies with strong problem-solving skills.
