Snr Systems Engineer, Public Sector, Defence and Defence Industrial Base (UK&I)

📋 Description

• Senior technical pre-sales partner to Account Executives and partners across UK & Ireland.
• Help government, defence customers and defence industrial base partners understand storage and data
• Lead discovery through technical validation and close.
• Mentor and direct other SEs in Public Sector, Defence and Defence Industrial Base.
• Translate requirements into architectures, proposals, sizing, quotes, and concepts for confidence
• Deliver remote and on-site presentations, demos, workshops for government and defence customers and

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in pre-sales, systems engineering, solution architecture or similar; public
• Strong storage fundamentals; experience with storage infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of block, file, object storage; FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN; virtualization and VMware
• Familiarity with UK government & defence procurement frameworks, security classifications, and
• Ability to lead technical discovery and engage with senior customers, prospects, and partners
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex technical ideas clearly.
