📋 Description

• Lead the social media strategy and daily execution for US politics, national and global news
• Develop short- and long-term social coverage plans around breaking news, political developments
• Monitor breaking stories and ensure timely, accurate, engaging, and platform-appropriate publishing
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop social media producers and editors while maintaining high
• Develop platform-specific strategies and content approaches for Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube
• Identify compelling story angles, hooks, headlines, captions, thumbnails, and visual treatments

🎯 Requirements

• Significant professional experience leading social media within a news, politics, digital media, or
• Previous experience managing, mentoring, or leading social media teams.
• Strong understanding of the US political landscape, national and global current affairs, and major
