Software Development Engineer, Security Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate critical services, pipelines, and tooling for Twitch's security platform.
• Own projects end-to-end from design to deployment and operational support.
• Work at the intersection of software, security, privacy, and data engineering.
• Handle large-scale security telemetry and automate security workflows.
• Collaborate with Security, Identity, Privacy, and Infrastructure teams on Twitch-wide initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years building and operating production backend services with end-to-end ownership.
• Fluency in a modern language (Go, Java, Python, or similar).
• Hands-on AWS experience with production services/pipelines, IaC, and safe rollout.
• Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces and drive clarity.
• Track record leading technical projects across multiple services/streams.
