Software Engineer, Backend - Data Layer

📋 Description

• Backend services for storing/serving process data across relational DBs and
• Own end-to-end engineering initiatives from design to delivery with high standards.
• Improve data processing, retention, exposure, and streaming for customer access.
• Enhance performance/scalability of secondary storage; build observability/tools for ops.
• Troubleshoot data-layer production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, SRE, QA, and other teams in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional Backend Software Engineer experience.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.
• Understanding of query performance, indexing, data modeling, execution plans, and trade-offs in
• Proven experience delivering complex engineering initiatives with requirements analysis and design.
• Ability to troubleshoot data-related production issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable with remote work and code reviews.
