Software Engineer, Backend (Product)

📋 Description

• Build and extend Hex’s API and CLI for advanced workflows
• Design MCP server and client implementations to expand entry points
• Develop a next-gen access control system with RBAC, admin flows, and tiered roles
• Own full-stack product changes end-to-end from policy to admin workflows
• Propose and implement scalable systems in collaboration with the team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering
• Experience building complex systems with intricate business logic
• Interest/experience in agentic workflows across disparate systems
• Remote-first collaboration and strong communication in that context
• Technical collaboration: RFCs, code reviews, architecture discussions
• Experience with SSO, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, MFA, delegated access
