Software Engineer, Core Platform

📋 Description

• Develop software for backend systems and APIs ingesting, processing, and routing data
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate specs into code
• Contribute to end-to-end ownership and on-call rotation
• Work on scalable, high-performing distributed systems for real-time data
• Drive team outcomes, sometimes outside your job description
• Occasional stand-by/on-call/off-hours duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
• Solid CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, networks, OS concepts; interest in distributed
• Experience building products with large-scale data (Node.js/Typescript)
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and scalability principles
• Systems debugging, networking, performance profiling and tuning
• Ability to learn new technologies and root-cause complex problems
