Software Engineer, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Design and build data platform systems to ingest, process, and expose large data volumes
• Develop scalable ingestion pipelines and backend services integrating data from various sources
• Collaborate across engineering, analytics, and infrastructure to improve reliability, governance
• Evolve legacy pipelines toward modern data architectures and unify product data access
• Impact Movable Ink’s products and services through data-driven decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Learn new technologies and solve big-picture problems with a product/end-user focus
• Deep understanding of data governance, lifecycle management, quality, lineage, retention, and
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write/optimize queries
• Experience with data warehouse tech at scale (Databricks, ClickHouse, Redshift, etc)
• Experience designing/operating data systems on AWS or GCP; multi-cloud exposure
• Proficiency with Docker/Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
