Software Engineer (Drone Stack)

📋 Description

• Architect and field autonomous drone systems that bridge hardware and software
• Develop autonomy stacks for defense missions; deploy on embedded Linux and compute platforms
• Perform SIL/HIL evaluations and live field testing with UAVs
• Integrate with aircraft autopilots, datalinks, sensors, and ground control systems
• Troubleshoot end-to-end hardware-software integrations for dependable operation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics/CS or related engineering discipline
• 3+ years hands-on robotics hardware-software integration
• Proficient in modern C++; experience with Docker and Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL)
• GitLab, Visual Studio Code; Pixhawk-family autopilots (ArduPilot/PX4)
• Know-how on UART/RS232/RS422/RS485, SPI/QSPI, I2C, Ethernet
• Experience with SIL/HIL; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
