Software Engineer I (Oakland, CA - US)

📋 Description

• Develop, test, maintain, and enhance software applications and services under guidance.
• Create and execute unit tests to verify functionality and quality.
• Troubleshoot routine defects and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Document code changes and technical solutions for maintainability.
• Participate in sprint reviews, planning, and team discussions in Agile ceremonies.
• Support deployment, release validation, and production monitoring activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, CS, or related field preferred; equivalent experience
• 1 year of relevant software development experience (internships/projects acceptable).
• Foundational proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Mendix; basic SQL & relational DB
• Familiarity with Git; understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.

• Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 with target $80,000 - $90,000 based on experience.
