Software Engineer, Observability

📋 Description

• Maintain, improve, and develop tooling and systems that enhance the reliability, scalability, and
• Assist engineering teams in defining service-level objectives (SLOs) and provide tooling to monitor
• Maintain and analyze metrics from operating systems, control planes, and applications to aid fault
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Lyft's observability and meet developers' needs
• Keep and maintain documentation on infrastructure operations processes and insights.
• Identify repeatable actions and automate repetitive tasks.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience on teams responsible for software development, automation, and systems
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• Production-ready code in Go or Python.
• Experience operating infrastructure in public cloud environments such as AWS, including familiarity
• Experience building and maintaining observability infrastructure for robust monitoring and analysis.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and managing multi-cluster environments in production.
