Software Engineer, Privacy Engineering (Lawful Access)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate backend systems for lawful data access workflows.
• Build reliable data pipelines and interfaces across products and data stores.
• Implement least-privilege access, approvals, provenance, and audit trails.
• Partner with Legal Operations to translate requirements into designs.
• Identify automation to reduce repetitive work while preserving review.
• Own production systems with testing, observability, incident response.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building/operating lawful data access systems and lifecycle.
• Strong backend fundamentals; production services or data-intensive systems.
• Reason about correctness, authorization, security, and privacy with sensitive data.
• Turn ambiguous requirements into pragmatic plans; communicate tradeoffs.
• End-to-end ownership; operate what you build; learn new domains.
• Collaborate across Eng, Legal, Operations, Privacy, and Security.
