Software Engineer (Python) — Programmable Networking

📋 Description

• Build customer-facing APIs to provision and manage real network resources across global PoPs.
• Develop the network orchestration control plane with asynchronous Python services.
• Automate network infrastructure using Ansible and SSH tooling.
• Integrate with cloud providers and connectivity platforms for interconnects.
• Contribute to Go-based Envoy xDS control-plane services and edge/gateway data planes.
• Own production reliability, observability, and scalable deployment practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with production APIs and distributed systems.
• Advanced Python experience: asyncio, aiohttp, uvloop, SQLAlchemy; Go knowledge is a plus.
• Practical networking expertise: BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, VRFs, WireGuard, FRR/VyOS.
• Infrastructure automation: Ansible, SSH tooling, idempotent config management, drift detection.
• PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design and live migrations.
• Cross-layer troubleshooting and a systems mindset for asynchronous jobs and rollback.
