Software Engineer, Simulation

📋 Description

• Develop and advance in-house multi-physics simulation engine for SpaceX manufacturing domains.
• Expand capabilities to additive manufacturing, welding, structural analysis, grain prediction, and
• Apply simulations to increase part yield and optimize parts across SpaceX programs.
• Leverage ML/AI, including surrogate models and physics-informed networks, to speed simulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and automate processes.
• Validate simulations using industry-standard benchmarks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math or 5+ years software experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of software development in C++, Python, or similar OO languages.
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture, testing, CI, and Linux.
• Experience with version control and debugging complex integration issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in team settings.
