Software Engineer, Wireless Technologies

📋 Description

• Own software integration, performance, optimization, and debugging of the TCU
• Manage architecture that integrates third-party hardware with autonomous platform
• Analyze diagnostics across cellular networks, 4G/5G modems, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
• Architect host-side connectivity software for cellular edge cases
• Collaborate to ensure safety, reliability, and scalability of Zoox fleet
• Bridge hardware, cloud, and test systems for robust connectivity

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of embedded Linux systems and cellular/wireless stack dev
• B.S./M.S. in CE/CS/Physics/EE or equivalent
• Proficient in C/C++, Linux, Python/Shell
• Deep LTE/5G stack knowledge (NAS, PDCP, RRC, RLC, MAC, PHY)
• Experience integrating third-party modems, Qualcomm ecosystems, and network tools
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, OS concepts, data structures
