Software Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead a hands-on software engineering team building Career Edge tools and platforms.
• Own delivery for defined product/area, manage engineers, and improve velocity.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and US stakeholders; oversee sprint planning and risk
• Drive agile practices, maintain rhythm in a distributed, night-shift team, and track delivery
• Provide technical guidance on web stack and cloud infra, CI/CD, and code quality.
• Champion AI-enabled development and advocate responsible AI tooling within the SDLC.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering; 2–4+ years leading teams as Engineering Manager or similar.
• Strong full-stack JS/TS background; hands-on with Node.js, React/Next.js; API design experience.
• Production experience on cloud platform (AWS preferred); knowledge of CI/CD and modern delivery
• Proven ability to lead distributed/remote teams and mature Scrum/Agile practices.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and ability to balance speed, quality, and business priorities.
• Passionate about AI adoption and staying current with tooling and practices.
