Software Engineering Manager II

📋 Description

• Lead a software engineering team building fulfilment capabilities for Grab’s marketplace.
• Translate product and business priorities into an engineering roadmap and drive reliability
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Analytics and Operations to define priorities and roadmaps.
• Establish engineering practices for design reviews, testing, deployment and incident response.
• Foster an inclusive environment with clear ownership and strong talent development.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience designing and operating production systems at scale.
• 2+ years in managing and developing software engineers.
• Hands-on experience with LLM and generative AI solutions, including evaluation, prompt design and
• Strong backend, distributed systems, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead multi-team initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Excellent communication of technical and AI trade-offs to stakeholders.
