Solutions Engineer - Data Engineering (Hyderabad)

📋 Description

• Hybrid Work Model: work at least 3 days per week at our Hyderabad office while staying digitally
• Deliver Apache Airflow solutions across customer use cases from seed startups to Fortune 500.
• Architect and implement scalable data engineering frameworks using Airflow for Astronomer customers.
• Engage with customers and partners to ensure successful Airflow implementations post-sales.
• Engage with the Apache Airflow open-source community and Astro platform.
• Review and optimize data workflows and Airflow configurations for performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of data-engineering experience, ideally with Airflow in production.
• Experience creating DAGs, writing Python, and building Airflow operators/hooks.
• ETL/ELT pipeline expertise, data transformations, and monitoring.
• Experience with Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar.
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work with customers.
• Ability to prioritize and execute customer-facing activities.
