Responsibilities

  • Build, assemble, and modify prototype electrical harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings
  • Carry out wiring, crimping, soldering, and connector termination activities to industry standards.
  • Inspect and test harness assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and technical requirements.
  • Support prototype development, troubleshooting, and fault-finding activities.
  • Maintain accurate build records and documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to resolve engineering issues.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Proven experience building and assembling prototype electrical harnesses.
  • EASA certification or demonstrable experience working to EASA aerospace standards.
  • Strong hands-on skills in wiring, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with harness inspection, continuity testing, and fault diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of aerospace, aviation, defence, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
