Sr. Associate Manager - Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

📋 Description

• Provide support in negotiations and purchasing of goods & services as per business requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods & services.
• Act as local point of contact in Jamaica for Non-Tech sourcing activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations; prepare comparative statements and first-level analysis
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and vendor relationships under guidance of senior procurement
• Identify and develop alternative suppliers; manage PO creation and approvals; resolve issues on

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from Engineering, Science or Commerce or related field
• 5-7 years purchasing experience in reputed organizations
• 4-6 years procurement & sourcing experience in facilities & admin functions (janitorial
• 2-3 years operational experience with tools like ARIBA/COUPA/Ivalua is a plus
• Ability to add value, reduce costs and improve processes
• Knowledge of Jamaica vendors; US/Canada non-tech vendors is an advantage
