Sr. Data Engineer - FP&A

📋 Description

• Lead design and implementation of a scalable Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) for Cognite FP&A
• Define and execute technology selection to support future business scaling
• Build and integrate data pipelines using data connectors, SQL, Python/Java, and REST APIs
• Develop data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to move data into data warehouses or data lakes
• Prepare data for Power BI reporting and AI agents; create data models for discovery and mapping
• Governance, security and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA); collaborate with stakeholders to enable

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field; MBA or business domain
• Minimum 5 years in data-intensive roles, customer-facing preferred
• Production-grade data pipelines with Python, SQL, REST APIs
• Experience with Azure cloud services; familiarity with GCP beneficial
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Notebooks PySpark, Spark SQL, DAG workflows) and
• Power BI semantic models (star schema) and BI reporting; GitHub for version control; GitHub Actions
