Sr. DevOps Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities
• Architect, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure for company applications and services.
• Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software
• Manage and mentor DevOps, platform, and/or software engineering individual contributors.
• Establish technical direction, engineering standards, and operational best practices for cloud
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology
• 8+ years of professional software engineering, DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, cloud
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, or operating cloud infrastructure and
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience (architecture, direction, mentoring, or leading complex
• 2+ years of direct people-management experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading DevOps/Platform teams; healthcare/regulatory environment experience.
• Experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes-based production environments.
• Experience establishing SRE practices, SLOs, metrics, and incident-management processes.
• Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience developing security controls with Security/QC/Compliance teams.
• Experience supporting highly available production systems and regulated software lifecycle.

Travel and Work Arrangement

Less than 5% domestic travel. A work-from-home arrangement is available subject to company policy.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role varies by location and is aligned to market benchmarks. Total Target Compensation: $205,000–$251,000. This role is eligible for a 15% target annual bonus. Final compensation based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
