📋 Description

• Lead software engineering vision, roadmap, and standards for bioinformatics platforms.
• Mentor and develop engineers, leads, and managers across teams.
• Oversee production-grade platforms, workflows, data systems, and reporting solutions.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems, automation, containerization, and cloud/HPC workloads.
• Establish production operations practices: monitoring, incident response, RCA, post-release support.
• Translate scientific and business priorities into actionable software roadmaps with stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Bioinformatics, Genomics, Data Science, or related field.
• 12+ years in software engineering or bioinformatics, with clinical/genomics/domain experience.
• 7+ years in software leadership: people mgmt, hiring, performance mgmt, mentoring.
• Proven leadership shaping strategy, roadmaps, resources, and operating models for complex software
• Experience leading production systems in clinical/regulated environments; strong architecture/API
• Track record delivering scalable platforms, data workflows, automation, and modern dev practices.
