Sr Engineer, Emerging Device Technology

📋 Description

• Evaluate delivery system and device solutions for AbbVie pipeline
• Work at intersection of early needs assessment, technology evaluation, and strategy
• Collaborate with CMC, Asset Teams, Commercial, and external partners
• Translate clinical and business needs into delivery system strategies
• Conduct feasibility planning and identify scalable platform opportunities
• Support RFPs, feasibility planning, and timeline development

🎯 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Biomedical or related engineering
• Design control and combination product knowledge
• 12 yrs (BS), 8 yrs (MS/MBA) in product development with 3–8 yrs in medical devices
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to navigate fast-paced environments and influence stakeholders
• Willingness to travel 10–20%
