Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide technical expertise and implement EHS programs at SpaceX Starship development site.
• Work with test engineers to review complex hazardous operations for safe execution.
• Lead or assist incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and other agencies.
• Collaborate with leadership on hazard assessments and health and safety policies.
• Develop safety and environmental programs (OSHA standards, hazmat, cryogenics, hazards) and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years in design, development and oversight of environmental, health and safety disciplines
• Preferred: engineering degree with focus in occupational health/safety or environmental engineering
• Knowledge of process safety, regulatory interpretation, incident management, and emergency response
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience/connections in construction safety
