Sr. Equipment Engineer, Insource Manufacturing

📋 Description

• Own equipment lifecycle from concept to production bring-up for injection molding systems.
• Lead technicians to troubleshoot and resolve complex molding machine failures.
• Develop and execute improvement projects to maximize equipment availability and OEE.
• Coordinate internal and third-party resources for repairs, overhauls, and upgrades.
• Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while driving speed and efficiency.
• Interface with engineering, quality, production, and procurement to resolve hold factors blocking

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, materials engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience with complex components and assemblies.
• 5+ years’ experience with plastic processing and injection molding peripherals.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing and injection molding cooling systems.
• 3D CAD and 2D drawings; experience with End of Arm Tool design is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and process improvement skills.
