Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead architecture and design decisions for end-to-end data, AI, and application projects.
• Build production-grade systems and reference architectures for customer deployments.
• Collaborate with engagement managers, architects, and customer teams to scope technical delivery
• Embed with customer teams to understand challenges and drive impact.
• Provide feedback to Databricks product and support to accelerate engagement success.
• Travel to customer sites up to 20% of the time.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient coding in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and Spark runtime internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.
