Sr. Manager, Payroll

📋 Description

• Own US/Canada payroll cycle (semi-monthly/off-cycle) with audit trail
• Manage payroll calendar, cut-offs, and data integrity from hire to pay
• Primary escalation point for payroll discrepancies and queries
• Drive improvements to reduce manual work and increase controls
• Core systems: Workday Payroll & Workday HCM; manage pay runs and codes
• Use ADP Smart Compliance for multi-state/prov tax filing

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years US/Canada payroll; 3+ years in leadership
• Deep knowledge of US multi-state payroll tax: nexus, SUI/SDI
• Canadian payroll compliance: CPP/QPP, EI, provincial tax, T4/RL-1
• RSU/equity payroll management; vesting, W-2 reconciliation
• Payroll reconciliation, GL mapping, accruals, data accuracy
• Lead teams of 4+; delegate, develop, hold accountable
