Sr. Manufacturing Design Engineer - eMotor

📋 Description

• Bridge between R&D product design and production execution for EPS electric powertrain systems.
• Lead assembly and manufacturing activities from prototyping to mass production across multiple
• Develop and optimize build plans, tooling, and process trials to enable scalable production.
• Define automation specs, fixtures, and vendor collaboration through FAT/SAT and qualification.
• Establish plant line layouts, MBOMs, and manufacturing methods for cost, quality, and schedule
• Improve OEE and drive continuous improvement with RCCA and PDCA methodologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering with 3–6+ years hands-on
• Hands-on assembly experience with mechanical and electronic assemblies; experience with advanced
• Strong fundamentals in SPC, GD&T, drawing reviews; experience with CAD (NX/AutoCAD), PLM, MES
• Experience scaling production lines from prototype to high-volume manufacturing; end-to-end NPI
• Structured problem solving (Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D, 5-Why); ability to communicate clearly in
• Knowledge of HV wiring, battery modules, eVTOL systems, and aerospace/aero configuration management
