Sr. Network Engineer (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Manage and expand network interconnections, co-location sites, and POPs
• Manage network infrastructure and deployments to Top Secret datacenters
• Improve network performance and reliability using system performance metrics
• Assist in capacity augmentation and network optimization deployments
• Lead network integration and troubleshooting efforts
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and network engineers to improve Starshield network design

🎯 Requirements

• BS in technical/engineering field + 5+ yrs networking exp; or 7+ yrs exp w/o degree
• Professional Layer-1 experience (transport, DWDM, optical fiber, circuit troubleshooting)
• Hands-on build-out/deployment of hardware at datacenters
• Experience bringing up switches, routers, firewalls, and servers
• Experience implementing network security functions
