Sr NPI Manufacturing Engineer

📋 Description

• Contribute manufacturing, design and problem-solving skills to support daVinci SinglePort platform
• Provide daily support for existing in-house lines and develop new assembly processes
• Drive continuous improvement of fixtures and processes to improve quality, throughput and cost
• Lead root cause investigations and manage quality system compliance
• Assist line transfer, design feedback and V&V activities for new products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and launch products

🎯 Requirements

• Strong 3D modeling/CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred) for complex fixtures
• Foundation in design, fabrication and assembly process development for complex mechanical assemblies
• Experience with injection molding, thermoforming, machining, stamping, MIM
• Proficient in statistical methods (Cpk, ANOVA, DOE) for process development
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with operators, engineers and suppliers
• Travel flexibility to suppliers or Intuitive sites
