Sr. Purchasing Specialist, Avionics & Mission Systems

📋 Description

• Source and procure avionics, electrical, and mission systems hardware.
• Develop sourcing strategies and establish supplier partnerships to optimize cost, quality, lead
• Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, lead times, terms, NRE, and other requirements.
• Issue and manage PO processes for prototype to production builds.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams to meet requirements and
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, and non-conformance issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or
• 4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.
• Experience purchasing avionics, electronics, or mission systems hardware.
• Strong negotiation, pricing, lead time, and commercial terms expertise.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications for hardware sourcing.
