Sr. R&D Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, prototype, and develop new medical devices and components.
• Manage projects as a project leader within a multidisciplinary team.
• Create documentation packages with CAD drawings, specs, risk analyses, and tests.
• Document R&D processes through lab notebooks, protocols, and reports.
• Execute testing, interpret results, and communicate findings.
• Identify, vet, and utilize vendors in product development.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related discipline preferred).
• 5+ years of R&D Engineering or Product Development in medical devices.
• Hands-on, multi-disciplinary technical design problem solving.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong engineering acumen and mechanical intuition.
• Advanced degree in Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with endovascular, electromechanical, and/or implantable devices.
