Sr. Regulatory Reporting Accountant

📋 Description

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican NIF, IFRS, and CNBV reporting.
• Lead accounting integration of a newly acquired SOFIPO.
• Standardize policies and charts of accounts.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 6–10 years in banking, fintech, SOFIPO, IFPE, or regulated financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican NIF; practical IFRS/CNBV reporting.
• Advanced Excel; ERP experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics.
• Experience leading financial close and audits.
• Experience with M&A/post-merger integration desirable.
