Sr Research Scientist

📋 Description

• Serve as trusted research advisor to school districts, researchers, educators, and stakeholders.
• Lead research consulting from scope to delivery with methods and findings.
• Access, query, analyze large-scale datasets in Snowflake using R/Python/SQL.
• Apply expertise in educational research and research design to complex questions.
• Translate findings into practical guidance for nontechnical audiences.
• Deliver partner-facing presentations, analyses, and research reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in Education, Educational Measurement, Public Policy, Economics, Psychology, or related field.
• 5+ years in educational research or research consultation; large-scale/longitudinal data preferred.
• Strong quantitative expertise; appropriate methodologies for applied questions.
• Proficiency with R, Stata, Python; strong SQL skills for large datasets.
• Experience collaborating with educators, district/state leaders, researchers, or stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex research into practical recommendations for nontechnical audiences.
