Sr. Sales Planning & Forecast Manager

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end sales forecasting across retail/e-commerce channels, customers, and product
• Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and long-range forecasts using historical data, POS
• Partner with Sales leadership to incorporate customer intelligence, opportunities, risks, and
• Drive alignment across Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Marketing to provide a
• Analyze actual performance vs forecasts; identify variance sources and recommend corrective actions.
• Own forecasting KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in sales forecasting, demand planning, sales analytics, or related
• Demonstrated experience owning or leading a sales forecasting process with strong forecasting
• Strong analytical capabilities with large datasets and translating findings into business
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling) and analytical reporting.
• Experience analyzing historical sales, POS, inventory, demand, and related datasets.
• Strong understanding of forecast accuracy, bias, and variance analysis.
