Sr. Security Engineer II – IRAP Program Lead (Remote Eligible)

📋 Description

• Own IRAP (Australia) and ISMAP (Japan) programs end-to-end for APAC government security compliance.
• Architect and maintain compliance processes, documentation, and audit trails for IRAP and ISMAP.
• Coordinate with regional assessors and government agencies across Australia and Japan.
• Drive automation to streamline compliance workflows and evidence collection.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to assess changes impacting IRAP/ISMAP status.
• Lead continuous monitoring and quarterly updates to maintain regulatory alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in government security compliance frameworks (IRAP, ISMAP, FedRAMP, or equivalent).
• Deep knowledge of IRAP, ISM, ISMAP, and related control mappings to cloud architecture.
• Technical foundation in cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP; IaC, logging, incident response.
• Experience coordinating assessments in multiple regulatory environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication for Australian/Japanese audiences.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis; degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

🎁 Benefits

• US Base Salary: $175,000 – $245,000 USD
