Design and implement Scala backend services for evaluation, risk, and trading workloads
Build actor-based systems (Akka) for high-throughput market data
Own features end-to-end from spec to production hand-off
Design data models in PostgreSQL including JSONB
Diagnose production incidents and optimize performance under load
Mentor junior teammates on Scala and testing practices

🎯 Requirements

5+ years backend experience with real-time data and high availability
Strong Scala expertise—idiomatic Scala, functional patterns, testing
Experience with Akka/Pekko or equivalent
Relational DB skills with PostgreSQL, JSONB usage
Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar)
Excellent troubleshooting and distributed tracing abilities
