Sr. Software Engineer, Structural

📋 Description

• Design and implement algorithms and systems behind framing and structural analysis
• Use AI-assisted workflows to build quickly while ensuring correctness and maintainability
• Partner with product, customer success, and other engineers to define behavior and surface gaps
• Bring structural engineering judgment to translate systems into software
• Write tests that cover worst-case scenarios
• Help shape a new team's technical direction and mentor others

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in TypeScript
• Structural or mechanical engineering experience
• Familiarity with computational geometry and mathematical modeling
• Proficiency with modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows; ownership of code correctness
• Comfort operating in ambiguity on a new, emerging team
• Strong ability to communicate tradeoffs and timelines
